Residential Structure Fire Damages Youngstown Home, No Injuries Reported

YOUNGSTOWN – On June 12th, 2021 at 15:48 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a  911 call reporting a fire in the attic of 332 Oak Street in the Village of Youngstown. Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and confirmed the single story residence had smoke coming from the roof.

The fire was extinguished by members of the Village of Youngstown, Ransomville and Lewiston Volunteer Fire Departments.

The  resident was reportedly performing construction work on the structure at the time of the fire. An estimate of the  damage was not available however, the residence suffered extensive roof and interior damage. No injuries were  reported.
