Orleans County Robbery Suspects Identified by Sheriff’s Office

The following suspects have been named in today’s robberies and police pursuit in Orleans County:

John S. Cecchini, age 27, of Medina.

Cecchini is being held in the Orleans County Jail on a Parole warrant at this time. 

Chakya Williams, 19, of Rochester.

Williams has been charged at this time with Petit Larceny, Robbery 2nd degree (1-count), and an additional charge or Robbery 2nd degree (1-count). Williams was arraigned and is currently being held on $10,000 cash/$10,000 partial secured/ $20,000 Surety Bond.

The robberies, which took place in the morning hours on Monday, occurred at Crosby’s in Albion, and again at Family Dollar in Medina. The investigations by all the agencies involved are continuing, additional charges are expected.
