LOCKPORT — Eastern Niagara Hospital successfully completed its reaccreditation process from DNV GL-Healthcare this last week. By achieving this accreditation, the hospital has demonstrated it meets or exceeds patient safety standards set forth by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
On ‘Wake UP Niagara’, Niagara County’s WLVL AM radio program, ENH CEO Anne McCaffrey discussed her team’s success. “We are so happy at Eastern Niagara this week. This is our third consecutive year that we’ve been accredited by an outside hospital accreditation agency called DNZ.” She added, “This year we really knocked it out of the park. Our team has just done such a phenomenal job. We had no citations in clinical areas, infection control, operations management – which is really incredible, and a testament to the great work of our team at Eastern Niagara.”
