Medina Sandstone Society Sets March Meeting

The Medina Sandstone Society has updated their meeting schedule, adding a Zoom oriented gathering on their Facebook today. The meeting will be on March 24th at 7 p.m. Any “Stonecutter” supporters interested in attending can contact the non-profit on their Facebook: Medina Sandstone Society | Facebook, or their website: Medina Sandstone Society – Dedicated to Historic Preservation & Community Service. You will be provided with a Zoom link.

The Medina Sandstone Society, Inc., organized under the not-for-profit laws of New York State, calls focus on the village’s notable industrial past and especially the affection of the world’s builders for our native sandstone. They use that image to build local pride, to support hometown initiatives, to embrace historic preservation and to help the Medina area in modern times to reach its full potential.

The non-profit also runs the Sandstone Trust, giving small grants to local programs, projects and organizations, and the John Ryan Scholarship, helping one graduating MCSD Senior gain funding to further their education.
