Kyle Lambalzer announced Tuesday evening he will be running for 4th Ward Alderman within the City of Lockport. A current Lockport City School District board member, Kyle is a graduate of Daemen College who works as a Registered Nurse for Eastern Niagara Hospital.
As a homeowner for the past 19 years on Locust Street, Kyle has expressed an intimate understanding for the burden that high taxes can place on a family’s budget. A father of two children, he also connects with the challenges of raising and educating a family in these difficult times.
As Trustee for the LCSD School Board, he has worked with school budgets, keeping them within the state mandated tax cap, and has pledged to do the same if given the opportunity as an Alderman.
Kyle also carries a knowledge of business. As a former co-owner at Tom’s Diner on Main Street for eight years, he believes that his experience dealing with the challenges of operating a successful small business will aid in his efficacy as a local representative.
Additionally, Kyle and his wife have hosted the ‘Lockport in Bloom Garden Walk’ for the last four years. He believes events and businesses surrounding Lockport’s scenery and canal culture will help elevate the City as a whole.
Kyle is hoping to earn votes so he can use his skills to “hold the line on taxes,” “enhance downtown businesses,” and “promote tourism for the City of Lockport.”
