FMC Collects/Donates Food for Local Residents, Runs Program Through Middleport’s Community Food Pantry

Employees from FMC’s Agricultural Sciences Plant in Middleport, working with Local 1180 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and plant management, helped to collect and donate more than 100 pounds of non-perishable food and toiletries to the Middleport Area Community Food Pantry recently.

The food drive’s aim is connecting area residents hitting hard times with a resource to make the holiday’s a little bit easier.

A spokesperson for FMC remarked on the company’s decision in lending a helping hand, stating, “FMC Middleport employees are happy to help out our neighbors during one of the most stressful years in memory and we hope others will join us in assisting those who are in such great need during this holiday season.”
