“Unfortunately, we come bearing news that most of you expected, although we hoped it would not come down to this again. As of 12/1 we have decided to cease visitation on North Wing for at least two weeks, bringing us to 12/15. We plan to reach back out to all of you as the time gets closer, to give any updates on if we can re-open visitation at that time.
“This is not due to any COVID cases within the facility, rather the uptick in COVID cases within the community.
“Although we understand the hardship this places on you as family members, as well as our residents, we are continuing to do what is best to protect them from the virus.
“We will continue to do whatever we can to make this process easier for you and the residents, including continuing Facetime visits with our IPads that we have on the unit. If you would like to reserve a particular day/time to do so, please contact myself or the activities department.”
