NCSO Announces Multiple Arrests from Around the County for Theft and Burglary

INCIDENT TYPE: STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST
LOCATION: 5526 NIAGARA ST EXT 
MUNICIPALITY: Town of Lockport
DATE/TIME: 11/23/2020 at 1545 hours

Sheriff Michael Filicetti announces the arrest of Brandon Lazeration, 23, of Ransomville, on stolen vehicle charges after an investigation conducted by Investigator Michael Leggett of the Criminal Investigation Bureau. 

Lazeration is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd (D felony), Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th (E felony), and Criminal Mischief 3rd (E felony).

Lazeration is accused of possessing a stolen dirt bike taken from Wheatfield this past summer and stealing a vehicle from the Town of Niagara on November 15, 2020. He is also accused of significantly damaging a vehicle in an attempt to steal it from a Town of Niagara residence on November 14, 2020. 

Lazeration turned himself in on a warrant at the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office on above date. He is being held in the Niagara County Jail awaiting centralized arraignment. 


INCIDENT TYPE: BURGLARY ARREST
LOCATION: 211 NIAGARA ST 
MUNICIPALITY: City of Lockport
DATE/TIME: 11/23/2020 at 1900 hours

On November 17, 2020 several vehicles were entered overnight while parked at Redline Automotive, 5700 Otto Park Place in the Town of Lockport. The thefts from the vehicles, some of which belonged to a local plumbing company, resulted in thousands of dollars’ worth of items stolen. Also, Carson’s Deli, which is in close proximity to Redline, had an attempted burglary. 

After an investigation conducted by Lieutenant Tracy Steen of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Bureau, with assistance from the Lockport Police Department, a search warrant was executed at the residence of suspect, Alec Baker, 26, in the City of Lockport. Evidence was secured linking Baker to the crimes. He was subsequently charged with two counts of  Burglary 3rd degree(D felony), two counts of Grand Larceny  3rd (D felony), two counts of Grand Larceny 4th (E felony),  Criminal Mischief 2nd (D felony), Criminal Mischief 4th (A  misdemeanor) and two counts of Petit Larceny(A misdemeanor)  for the Redline incident. 

He was also charged with attempted Burglary 3rd (E felony), Criminal Mischief 3rd (E felony), and Possession of Burglar Tools (A misdemeanor) for the Carson’s Deli incident. Baker is being held at the Niagara County Jail awaiting centralized arraignment.

Sheriff Michael Filicetti announces the arrest of Jonathan Ciccarelli, 48, of Niagara Falls, on several charges related to thefts he committed between the dates of October 12th and October 14, 2020 in Niagara County. 

After an investigation by the Criminal Investigation  Bureau, Ciccarelli was charged with Burglary 3rd (D felony),  attempted Burglary 3rd (E felony), Grand Larceny 4th (E  felony), Criminal Mischief 3rd (E felony), Possession of  Burglar Tools(A misdemeanor), and two counts of Petit  Larceny(A misdemeanor).  

Ciccarelli burglarized an office at Boreggo Solar in Wheatfield, attempted to burglarize a storage trailer in Sanborn, and committed thefts at Home Depot in Lockport and SturdiBuilt Sheds in Pendleton. 

Ciccarelli is being held at the Niagara County Jail awaiting centralized arraignment.
