‘Scouting for Food’ Brings Youth Together in Aiding the Community

The Lockport Cub Scouts Pack 6, along with Lockport’s Boy Scouts of America Troop 6, joined up today to collect perishable goods for donation to area food banks in Orleans and Niagara Counties.  The group held a drive-thru collection, drawing in around 15 cars and 451 pieces of perishable goods.

“Last year, we drove around, but obviously the rules changed a bit,” said Cub Scout Pack Master Steve Allore.  He added, “It’s really important that the scouts understand the value of helping their community.”
