“Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I have received such tremendous support and truly appreciate the confidence placed in me for this important office,” Niagara County’s newly elected District Attorney, Brian Seaman, said after his Tuesday night victory.
Seaman, who was the endorsed Republican, Conservative, Independent and Libertarian candidate, took the victory with 51,133 votes (61.2%). Experienced as a former Assistant District Attorney, Seaman is returning to the prosecutor’s office after some time at a private practice.
John Ceretto II, Seaman’s opponent, and the endorsed Democrat and Working Families Party candidate, ended the night with 31,145 votes (37.84%).
