The Medina Lion’s Club has taken over responsibilities from Lyndonville’s chapter as overseer on storage and dispensary for a relocated medical loan closet. The loan program provides multiple types of equipment to area residents free of charge. The equipment, formerly stored and cared for by Russ Martino in Lyndonville, has shifted to The Olde Pickle Factory at 711 Park Avenue in Medina.
The medical equipment listed: Hospital Beds, Wheelchairs, Walkers, Rollators, Canes, Crutches, Commodes, Shower Chairs and other items.
The loan closet is currently by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 585-205-3502. If you are a Lyndonville resident, call 585-281-4126. Upon appointment, drive to the back of the shipping alcove directly across from the Pine Street intersection.
The hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
