Medina Business Owner Holds Raffle Supporting Alzheimer’s Research and Care in WNY

MEDINA — At Case-Nic Cookies, Friday is your last day to participate in a local raffle with up to thirty separate gift packages.  The proceeds of this raffle will be heading to the WNY Alzheimer’s Association, providing Alzheimer’s care and support while accelerating research.

The winners of the raffle will be drawn on Saturday (9/26) after the “Virtual Alzheimer’s Walk in Medina.”  The walk itself is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide and 6 locations in our region. Additionally, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

To participate in the raffle, ticket sheets are $10.00 a piece (26 tickets).  You can stop in at Case-Nic Cookies on Friday (9/26) from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to make a purchase and try your luck.

Mary Lou Tuohey, Owner at Case-Nic Cookies, posted her gratitude on Facebook for everyone involved. “Thank you for supporting a cause that is very near and dear to my heart as both my Dad and Mom suffered with Alzheimer’s disease for a total of 27 years.”
