RIDGEWAY SETS PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SWETT ROAD SOLAR PROJECT: Public Must Attend Over Phone with No Real-Time Questions

Public notice from the Town of Ridgeway Planning Board to residents:

Please take notice, the Planning Board for the Town of Ridgeway will be conducting a public hearing for a Special Use Permit Application that has been submitted for installation of a 3.19 Megawatt alternating current, utility grade solar energy system.  This would be located at 2800 Swett Road, Lyndonville, NY 14098.

The public hearing will be held on September 2, 2020 at 7:05 p.m. at the Ridgeway Town Hall, located at 410 West Avenue, Medina, N.Y. 14103.  The meeting will be closed to the public, but accessible by telecommunication meeting format.

Instructions to access the meeting are as follows:

  1. Call the Town Hall main phone number: (585) 798-0730.
  2. Once the auto-attendant says: “Thank you for calling the Town of Ridgeway” – Dial: 401
  3. Once connected, you will be asked for a pin – Dial: 1234#

There is no video available.  The meeting will be recorded and a transcript of the meeting will be available.

All those having an interest in the application will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing, and may also submit comments in writing to Joelle Brown, Planning Board Clerk, Town of Ridgeway, 410 West Avenue, Medina, N.Y. 14103, not later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday August 28, 2020.

Update: We have communicated with the Ridgeway Town Office and according to them there will be a portion of the meeting where people can speak over the phone.
