Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Continues Connecting with Community Youth

The ‘Building Bridges’ program has been underway since August 27th this season; proceeding with some scheduled basketball training at Niagara County Community College Wednesday morning.

Officers from both the Niagara County Sherriff’s Office and Niagara Falls Police Department joined in playing hoops with those who attended. A few of them still in uniform.

In a post from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, they celebrated everyone’s involvement:

“The Building Bridges program continued today under NYS and CDC guidelines with the children, Deputies and Officers participating in a basketball training course, courtesy of Coach Bill Beilein of the NCCC Thunderwolves and his staff! Thank you to all of our contributors and participants!”

The ‘Building Bridges’ program is currently running every Monday and Wednesday 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The program is currently scheduled to end on August 7th.
