OUTDOOR MEDINA BOOT CAMP AND SPINNING SESSION AT LOCAL YMCA KEEPS RESIDENTS ACTIVE

In a post on Facebook, Spinning Instructor Rachael Cardone-Mulholland described the course as, “Thirty minutes of Spin and thirty minutes of Bootcamp (not necessarily in that order – we will surprise you).  Let’s trick our muscles and make them work harder!”

(Two participants do exercises with Mike while spinning class goes on behind them.)

This bootcamp was made possible by a collaboration with local fitness expert Mike Eaton.  Eaton described how things are going with outdoor workout sessions, which have been generally occurring for about three weeks, stating, “It definitely would be nice to go inside because we’ve had to cancel a few classes due to the weather, but other than that, it’s nice to get everyone out and moving.”

According to Eaton, classes have been successful.  He said this method of training will continue until guidelines from the state allow for indoor sessions.

Currently, the boot camp takes place on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. outside of the YMCA.  For more information on that schedule and other classes, click here: https://www.facebook.com/OrleansCountyYMCA/
