TERRY’S CORNERS VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY SPORTS NEW GEAR, FEMA AND AFG GRANT MAKE IT POSSIBLE
After receiving both FEMA and AFG grant funding, Terry’s Corners Vol. Fire Company incorporated a new look with recently purchased protective gear.
In a social media post written by outfitting distributor ‘LION’, which was shared on social media by the Niagara County firefighting outfit, a statement was made:
“The volunteer firefighters of Terry’s Corners Vol. Fire Co., Inc. (NY) recently took delivery of their brand new, custom-fit LION V-Force® and Super-Deluxe™ turnout gear. The gear purchase was made possible due to a FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) AFG grant. After researching fire PPE manufacturers, LION gear was selected based on overall comfort and fit.”
Additionally, the post stated, “Known as the home of the first yellow fire trucks, when it came time to select their gear color, they decided to stick with their signature yellow. Looking sharp, T.C. crew! Enjoy your new gear and welcome to the LION family. It’s an honor to help keep you protected. Stay safe out there.”
