DMV to Open Monday in Lockport, North Tonawanda, and Niagara Falls

Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh made an announcement on the reopening and operations of DMV offices in the area during an update on LCTV this afternoon.

Wydysh stated, “It is anticipated that the Niagara County Department of Motor Vehicles will be opening on Monday.  The finer details are being put into place at this time.  We hope to see more announcements, either this afternoon or tomorrow morning, from a press release from County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski over at the DMV.  Now, this will be by appointment only for Niagara County residents, and you can start making those appointments tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.”

Lastly, Wydysh remarked on the offices operational status, “Now, transactions will be done by appointment and in person at the Lockport and North Tonawanda DMV offices.  The Niagara Falls DMV office will only be open for permit tests for Class D and M Permits.”

To stay connected, Wydysh suggested following the DMV’s activity on the Niagara County website:
