Wydysh Provides Updates for Camping, Churches, and Graduation Parties – (Niagara County COVID-19 Numbers Included)
Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh gave several updates today on loosened limitations from Albany as the COVID-19 infection rate continues a downward descension.
According to Wydysh, this includes: (a) An allowance for outdoor graduation parties with a limitation of 150 people. (b) An allowance for churches to hold 25% of their total rated occupancy. (c) An allowance for camping at state parks. This includes tents, trailers, RV’s, and cottages.
On camping, Wydysh remarked that reservations “can start being made today for state camping sites allowing campers beginning on June 20th.

Lastly, Niagara County’s Public Health Department provided its regular COVID-19 update:
- 27 new positive cases (Friday through today)
- Total of 1150 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
- 226 active cases (214 isolating at home, 12 in hospital)
- 849 recovered
- 75 deaths (no change)
