Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County Providing Agricultural Workers with Free Sanitizer
The non-profit group announced yesterday, “New York State has made anti-bacterial hand sanitizer and face masks available for agribusinesses for free, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County will be serving as a designated pick up location.”
At 4487 Lake Avenue in Lockport, two employees and one volunteer gave away the high-demand product.

Mark Ducharme remarked on the supplies give, “The hand sanitizer and face masks have all be given through New York State. We are just a distribution hub getting help to those in need.”
Debbie Sweeny, a longtime volunteer for the organization, said, “People are thrilled, we hope to do another one next weekend.”
For now, the giveaway will proceed at C.C.E. on Lake Ave. tomorrow (05/09) and on Monday (05/11) from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
