Niagara County Relies on Local Entities for Testing as State Faulters in Delivering Upstate Supply

“Testing is definitely increasing, no doubt about it,” said Daniel Stapleton, Niagara County Health Director, during a broadcasted Niagara County update with Becky Wydysh.

Furthermore, Stapleton said of the tests delivered, most are “not from the state, but from people we’ve partnered with.”

A few of those entities: Kaleida Health, Erie County Medical Center, and the Erie County Department of Health.

Breaking down the 529 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 246 still in isolation and 28 deaths, Stapleton pointed out, “An important number, once again, is the 255 people who have recovered.  Showing that people can be positive for Coronavirus and still recover fully.”
