MIDDLEPORT, December 15 — The Middleport Fire Department hosted breakfast with Santa Sunday morning, and the long list of donors made for a hearty meal.

Santa sat in the middle of the room entertaining young believers and hearing out their wish lists; while a squaring of long tables adorned with gifts also entertained families, placing their name to raffle on prizes of their choosing.

Local area businesses like AutoZone in Medina and Lockport, Avanti’s, Case-Nic Cookies, Darrell’s Place, Molinaro’s of Lockport, Mark’s Pizza in Medina and many more all donated towards the event.  These offerings coupled with donations from both the Buffalo Bills and Sabres ensured no one went home without having more than enough.

Assistant Fire Chief Ryan Czaja oversaw the organization of this breakfast, and explained his favorite part of the event, “It’s just all about seeing the community come together.”
